HISTORY

Slow Lane Familia (SLF) was established on April 19, 1997. Originally named Slow Lane Car Club. The founder of SLF is Grumpy in Phoenix AZ. Over the years SLF grew to other cities like Southern AZ and then to San Diego CA. The vehicles in slowlane are 1966 and older traditional lowriders, customs, or stock ranflas. As the years passed, the bond between the members grew stronger.... PURO CARNALISMO!! which lead to our name change to Slow Lane Familia. ITS NOT A CLUB, ITS FAMILIA......

FAMILIA AND RESPECT

Carnales in SLF pride ourselves on a strong family bond between each member and their families. Any function or event that SLF attends or hosts has one basis. Every member and their family can attend, no matter age or gender. With that, the same amount or respect one would give a fellow member, will be given to their families.

Slowlane Familia makes every effort to support our local community in every way possible. Please feel free to contact us if you are looking at having a community fund raiser and would like our support.

SLF MASCOT

Originally designed by Grumpy's Brother for the SLF Familia. This logo is trademarked and is a our tribute to the old pachuco steelo that we wear proudly. The logo is a reminder of where we as a culture came from in the past and where we cruise to in the future. Since lowriders originally started in the pachuco era we incorporated them into our familia logo.

WEDDINGS AND QUINCEANERAS

We also do weddings as well as quinceaneras for a fee. please contact us for more info.
